Avery is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Chicago, majoring in statistics. She was raised in Shanghai, and is now living in Hyde Park, Chicago. Since beginning at university, she co-founded Queer + Asian at UChicago, the first queer cultural organization on campus. She also serves as student representative on LGBTQ Advisory Council at the university. During the school's tradition of Sex Week she co-directed Lascivious Ball. She loves nature, animals, healthy food, movies, and her hometown Shanghai. She has been passionate about photography since thirteen.
Xiao Lu received his Master of Laws degree from Northwestern University School of Law. In 2012, he received his Bachelor's from Yunnan University School of Law in Kunming, China. After that, he worked as an associate in law firms in China for 2 years. He has always been actively involved in promoting LGBT rights and legal protection for traditional ethnic culture. He currently resides in Chicago.
Tongjie Zhang serves as a program manager for ADSG. Before coming to the United Stated she practiced law for 10 years in China. During this time she was a legal supervisor for the MicroPort Medical Group Co., in Shanghai. Additionally she has worked as a volunteer lawyer at Pudong New District Legal Center for 5 years. She graduated from East China University of Politics and Law in 2004 and is currently a candidate for LL.M at Northwestern University School of Law.
